This guy is made from grubbied muslin using all the wonderful prim processes!

Attached to a rusty bed spring and resting on a bed of spanish moss and twigs is a 13 inch plump crow. He wears a grubby witch's hat. with autumb colored pip berries added and a garland of rusty jingle bells on the brim of his hat. He has stitched eye and a quilted wing. Tucked under his wing is a broom made with twigs and a stick handle.

In his mouth he carries a grubby piece of candy corn that is attached with a rusty safety pin. The pin and candy can be removed after the holidays making this crow a year round piece.

This grubbied muslin stocking has been painted with orange and black stripes on it and wrapped with rusty wire and jingle bells.

Spanish moss, autumn colored pip berries and rusty stars have been added to the stop of the stocking. And peeking out of the berries is a paper mache cat. A raggedy ole piece of cheecloth is tied around the stocking. The tags reads Salem Witches.

Including the berries and other goodies, this stocking measures 24 inches long. What an awesome piece for your front door!

Primitive Witch... Nights End

When the night is over....

Attached to a 36 inch cinnamon broom is a 17 witch hat.  It is made of aged and grubbied muslin.  The hat is painted black .  There is cheesecloth tied around the brim and a rusty jingle bell pinned to the tip of the hat.

Sitting on top of the hat (attached) is a pair of tattered witch shoes.  They are made of aged, grubbied and painted muslin.  Aged cheesecloth is wired to the tops and rusty jingle bells are pinned to the tips of the shoes.

The broom is finished off with fall colored pip berries and a 3 inch rusty star.

Your broom will come to you with a grubby tag that will be signed and dates.

  

Primitive Witch Hat Ornies

Simple little witch hats to scatter about!

Each measures 4 inches tall.  They are made from aged and painted muslin and then put through an aging process to look old and grubby.

Each hat has a cheesecloth tie and a rusty star.

You will receive 4 hats in a cello bag with a grubby tag.

These grungy, primitive pantry jars are a must for your Halloween decorating!

Made from recycled jars, these pantry jars have been grunged with a primitive finish.  The burnt edge tag names the contents and all is kept inside with a cheesecloth lid!

Gone are the days that Ethal Hallow and Piper roamed the villages at night...scarring old and young alike with preference to none.....

Yep, after that last visit to the village many moons ago, Ethal convinced Piper it was time to let go of their antic night life.....it was a close call when the inn keeper almost caught them under the table.  If it weren't for that sassy ole biddy from upstairs they would have been in the kettle stewing away!

The innkeeper was ready to scoop them up with his broom when Ida came running and screaming about strange nosies coming from the closet!  Whew....were they happy to see Ida! 

Even Ethal and Piper did not pull any tricks on the mean ole innkeeper.  The stories of the big black kettle in his back yard are true enough for them.....

Ethal did have to chuckle as she heard Ida trying to describe the clanging noise coming from the closet!  She knew Piper had tied all the spoons and forks to strings and hung them from the ceiling....then he opened the window knowing the cool night breeze would blow the spoons and forks....Piper sure misses scaring folks at the inn....

But these nights Ethal and Piper stay home and sit on the moon lit porch.  The while away the hours remembering all the hours of fun they had roaming the villages late at night....

Ethal is a big witch.  She is made of aged and painted muslin.  She measures 42 inches tall.  Ethal has individual fingers, a crooked nose and jutting chin.  Her face is painted and her long curls are sheep's wool that has been needle felted to her head.

Ethal is dressed in heavily aged and grubby bloomers and a homespun dress.  Her hat is made of muslin and her boots are painted.

Piper measures 9 inches long and is about 8 inches tall.  He is made of aged muslin and has a primitive finish.  Piper has a raggy piece of cheesecloth tied around his neck.  A rusty jingle bell is attached with a pin.

Ethal Hallow and Piper will come to you with a signed and dated name tag.  They are heavily aged.

Made from muslin, sunbaked and grubbied, it measures 15 inches tall. The tatttered brim measures 13 inches across.

A rusty wire has been added around the had, a rusty jingle bell to the tip and aged cheesecloth around the brim. And to finish this set,  a generous bunch of sweet annie, that smells wonderful, and a grubby tag have been added.

This grubby pair measures 8 inches long. They have been sunbaked and primmed to get their old, worn look.

Rusty jingle bells have been added to the tips of the toes, cheesecloth has been wired to the tops and a grubby tag has been added. They are pinned together with a rusty safety pin.

The dress is made from stained mulsin. The wrap is made from old, grungy cheesecloth. The bottom and sleeves are shredded. The dress has been hung on an old stick with a rusty hanger and a grubby tag that has the words "Salem Witch Hunt" printed on it.

To complete the dress,a bag made from stained muslin, with the word word "spells" painted on it and is hung around the neck of the dress.
